Welcome to Careers at KKS

At KKS, we believe that an inspiring, inclusive and aspirational careers programme is vital to support our young people to achieve success in the future.

We believe the best careers education is through a whole school commitment involving input from all school staff, our students, parents & carers, the business community and employers, and a wide range of education providers including colleges, universities and training providers.

Our students have access to a full Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) programme to ensure that they are ready and prepared for their next steps.  Various experiences, opportunities and information is strategically coordinated to help students make informed choices for future study and work. Feedback from employers, students, parents and teachers is used to review and evaluate our provision against the Gatsby Benchmarks.

KKS is extremely fortunate to have our own in house independent careers advisor. Mrs Fiona Herrema is in the school library every Wednesday and Thursday to support students with her wide-ranging knowledge and experience of careers guidance.

Miss Jen Donald (HoD Music, Careers Lead) and Mrs Hazel Pinder (Careers Administrator) are our careers team in school. Our Careers link Governor is Naomi Brown.
