Consultation: Admissions Policy from September 2026

Kirkbie Kendal School is currently consulting on its proposed school Admissions Policy from September 2026.

We are required by law to consult on our Admissions Policy every 7 years.  We do not want to make any significant changes to our current policy and have no plans to increase the size of our school.

The six-week consultation opened today (Friday 4^th October 2024) and will close on Friday 15^th November 2024.

In-Year Admissions

All applications for places during the school year should be addressed to the Headteacher’s PA headspa@kksa.co.uk. 

When making decisions about whether we can admit students in-year, we will have to consider whether we have space in any particular year group or in the school. Please note that many of our year groups already have a waiting list. In the first instance, the best thing to do is to contact the school and ask to speak to Mrs Bea Price, Headteacher’s PA, on 01539 727422.
