Curriculum Knowledge | Visual elements Building a good strong basis of drawing and painting skills. We will look at various artist from across the range of art history relevant to line, tone and colour examples from Van Gogh, Henry Moore, Rex Ray, Paul Klee, Hundertwasser, Matisse, Frank Stella amongst others. – Abstract Paintin | Continuation of Visual elements project building on the key skills established during the first half term. Experimentation with colour and composition building into an abstract colour painting | Jungles project Building on the skills learnt last term including colour theory. A focus on the artist Henri Rousseau – in particular ‘Surprised’ painting.
